Mio Asakura（朝倉美緒）

Raised in Azabu, the same Tokyo neighborhood that gave the label its name, and trained on piano from childhood. Mio Asakura was singing jazz in a Roppongi club when Jun Sugiura discovered her, debuting in 1983 with Crystal Avenue — AOR built for late nights and secrets never fully told.
